Use of Cast Flange Pipe Fittings

The connection of cast flanged pipe fittings is to fix two pipes, pipe fittings or devices on the flanged pipe fitting plate respectively. The two sealing surfaces of the bolt press each other against the flange gasket to form a seal, but this also damages the seal. In order to maintain the seal, a huge bolt effect force needs to be maintained, and for this, the bolt needs to be made larger. A larger bolt needs to mate with a larger nut, which means a larger diameter bolt is needed to allow for the tightening of the nut.
